Introducing Moment of Calm: your short-but-sweet daily dose of mindfulness

Moment of Calm is a new short-form video series designed to give you a quick boost of mindfulness when you only have a moment during the day.

Isn’t it amazing how your mental state can shift to the positive in a single moment?

Calm is best known for our meditation and sleep content. Many swear by their nightly Sleep Story or daily meditation with Tamara Levitt, Jeff Warren, or Jay Shetty. But for some time, we’ve heard a consistent request from folks within our community. What about those short moments when it’s impractical to sit down for a formal meditation practice, like when you’re on the subway or during a workbreak?

This got us thinking about what kind of experience would best fit those little pockets of your day when you’d love a bit of relaxation but only have a moment.

And that was the inspiration behind our newest creation: Moment of Calm.

What is Moment of Calm?

Moment of Calm is a new video series designed to bring a little dose of uplift into your day. Each video is 1–2 minutes long and crafted with intention. Some are short mindfulness practices, others reflections to spark a sense of gratitude or wonder. In each case, the goal is to create a positive state change, leaving you a bit more relaxed, present, or inspired.

Each video features beautiful narration set over a soothing background clip, as animated text gently guides your eyes down the screen. Sessions are voiced by some of our most celebrated narrators, like Jay Shetty, Chibs Okereke, Anna Acton, Chiké Okonkwo, and Kirat Randhawa. And our world-class audio team has added gorgeous music and soundscapes, giving the series a transportive effect.

Where to find Moment of Calm

Moment of Calm is live in the Calm app now. You can find it alongside the Dailies at the top of your homescreen, and expect a fresh video each day.

💙 If you discover one you like, don’t forget to tap the heart icon to add it to your favorites, so you can come back to it anytime.

We’re also planning to release a handful of videos on social media, so watch out for that.
